Green

So Green has gone to Huddersfield, because he doesn't want to be sitting on the bench as a number 2 keeper behind Weildwald. But surely hes going to be sitting on the bench as a number 2 keeper for Huddersfield.

So what's changed for him in terms of getting regularly game time

The way Green played last season he is unlucky not to be playing and he doesn't deserve to be sitting on anyones bench. He was sensational last season

he can earn more money.

If he wants to stay in the area and not move then its perfect for him

at this stage in his career if he wants to play there is on one direction he can go - further down the league.

Great last season but he aint going to ever get more than a year deal at his age so why not get a year deal sitting watching premiership football while getting a nice little pay packet

When his Children's children ask him where he plays, I'm sure they'd be happier telling their school friends their grandpappy plays 2nd fiddle for some Premiership club than a Championship club!..

Good luck to the bod, if he gets what he's searching for then all the best to him!..

Kebab, is Green better than the new goalkeeper?
The wage bill is irrelevant in this situation. Very strange business.

Apparently it was an amicable split. Termination
of contract by mutual consent. Wish him all the best.
It really doesn't matter the ins and outs of why.

is Green better than Wiedwald - no idea yet but i was one of the few that wanted Green replacing. Too many absolute howlers for me.

Absolutely spot on Matty. He knows he will be benched unless he drops down, so might as well be on a PL bench earning more money and not have to move probably

If Udders have any sense they could keep him on as a coach, I think he'd do good as a coach!..
