Scott Sinclair

What an absolutely tremendous signing he's been for us! Best signing since Larsson arguably?

The guy is a top player!

He has the Indian sign over rangers - worth it for that alone

OK, I thought someone might mention Rangers but in all honesty Rangers were at 6s and 7s last season and I will reserve judgement on games against them until we see what he does against what is looking like a better organised set up this season. Am sure even the Rangers fans don't view those games as a good indicator either. But yes I know and accept he played well in those games but I deliberately excluded those for the reason stated.

I like Scott but he just misses too many chances for me.

We have to accept that this is where we are as a club...we get players who are good but have one or two major flaws.

Sinclair misses chances, rogic has the energy of a tree sloth, Erik is ok but has a big fat erse,Mcgregor has funny eyes or something, boyata makes us nervous, etc.

Except for paddy and kt of course. They are perfect.

Agreed and would be interesting to know his goals to shots/chances ratio. Sinclair is that bit of higher quality player that helps us win those tight away games that in recent season has seen our rivals draw or lose. Roberts to an even greater extent as he is a better game changer in my opinion. Both are perhaps way better quality than anything else in Scotland and yes it wins us titles but lets not make Sinclair out to be at a higher level than he is. Great players yes but not amazing in and an English premiership or European context.
Saying that, I am happy to eat humble pie if he produces 2-3 outstanding performances in the CL.

The way I see Sinclair is that if Celtic win 5 - 0 against Motherwell I expect to see his name as the scorer of the 3rd, 4th or 5th goals. If Celtic win a toughly contested 1 - 0 against good opposition I expect to see anyone else's name on the scoresheet before his.

For a player who gets slated for a lack of energy, he sure scores and creates his fair share of last minute goals - off the top of my head Motherwell away, Kilmarnock away (twice), Scottish Cup Final etc.
