Since Ivan is skiving off, and now the distraction of the Champions League is over for a couple of weeks, I thought I'd draw your attention to the football that really matters, the rollercoaster ride that is the Scottish Championship. Don't worry, I'll keep it short...
Utd are pants.
That abouts sums it up, really. The team stumbled to a 1-1 draw at the weekend with a late James Keatings free kick getting the point. The match was torture to watch. In the first half it really looked like Utd weren't trying, now I have never booed the team in my life, but at half time I understood the guys around me who were. No effort, toothless up front, dodgy at the back, lazy in midfield, it was dreadful. Second half they at least tried a bit harder which was something.
Some of the fans are pure ragin' because that's what they do, it's all Thompson's fault etc
Some are pure ragin' because of the perceived lack of effort on the pitch
Some (me included) are starting to feel despondent with the whole thing. The team McKinnon has put together should be dominating matches, we shouldn't be starting with one up front at home to Dumbarton ffs.
Anyway, word on the pavey is that McKinnon is going out drinking with the players. This has come from a usually completely unreliable source, so I'm inclined to believe it, just for the hell of it.
Falkirk away on Saturday, one thing for sure is we'll either win, lose or draw...! Either way I'm certain there'll be an element of fan rage.
I said it would be a short article. Ah well.

I did indeed. Didn't really do much but good to have a break.
Coming back to work was painful though.
