Let me give you a predicament.
You're a manager of a fairly large football club.
You have on your books a very talented footballer, one who can make a real difference domestically - but there are still question marks over his ability to impact a game at the very top level. The player is very much a talent though, and is the type of player who gets bums off seats, an entertainer.
However the previous season he only started 14 of your league games, making 20 league appearances in total. He only completed 90 minutes a paltry 7 times in that league campaign.
You've just started a new campaign and already he's completely missed half your league games.
Would you carry on and hope that somehow he'll be able to manage his fitness?
Or do you cut your losses and sell, because he doesn't play enough?
I suppose the question is, how valuable is a very talented player when he spends half his time in the stand?

Hee haw......man's brought it all on himself. Yeah's we've ripped the p!sh oot of him on this thread but it's all his own doing. Especially if you consider he started this thread not content with making this point towards the tail end of the 'All Things Celtic' thread earlier.
Quite surprising really because he comes across as one of the more respected posters on here considering he comes from Dundee
