Eubank Jr Vs Yildrim Live Fight Thread!!!

The second quarter final in the world boxing super series takes place tonight as Eubank Jr takes on Avni Yildrim in Germany. Callum Smith booked his place into the semi finals and I am sure Eubank Jr will be aiming to do the same as he ventures into enemy territory. The fight will be on ITV PPV and I expect ring walks to begin some time around 9-10pm.

The fight itself has some interesting elements to it because Yildrim is a tough and durable fighter who carries decent power. Combined with the venue and atmosphere, this is far from an easy nights work for Jr. Stylistically however, this fight heavily favours the brit. Yildrim is one dimensional in his approach, lacks any sort of movement and is essentially a younger, less talented version of Arthur Abraham. Jr will have the speed and accuracy to tag his hittable opponent all night.I expect a lopsided decision in Jr's favour despite a competitive opening and possibly a late stoppage.
