After taking on daesh for years whilst the Iraqi army ran away, and the world watched on, the brave fighters of the Peshmerga, male and female brigades, are being shafted by the Turks and Iraqis.
Now, Turkey sat back and watched Isis takeover, and Iraq leaders did little more until the Kurds, Brits, yanks and Russians came on board.
Assad is a monster in his own right and his opposition to daesh was self preservation, so in a complex mess, the Kurdish militia were as near the good guys as we can get here.
The Kurds have fought for and voted for a homeland, and they deserve our support after defending us all against Isis, going toe to toe with evil.Many minority yazidi and christian and shia people would not be about if the Peshmerga did not take the war to the islamofacists.
The world must not let the Kurds down👍

Sixty per cent of the population have left, as they are Kurds, fearing Iraqi and shia reprisal for the Indy vote.
Apparently, the Kurds are split,, even in the Peshmerga, but the fact remains the Kurds are being pushed out of land they fought daesh for, After Iraqi forces ran.
Kurds deserve credit for their fight against evil mutters, and autonomy at least👍

Afyervth sacrifice they have made to fight Daash Us and Britain should be fighting tooth and nail to give them there own land, but The Sunnis in Saudi Arabia will not be happy and as i have said the Turks also

And to make this more complex, it seems the Kurds are sp!it between PKK, Peshmerga and Puk....deals done behnd backs and ego massaging time yet again for certain leaders.
The region is partly why I am again changing my opinion on nationalism, borders, and religious/ political identity!
Kurds, sunni, Turkmen, yazidi, shia, Brits, Russians, Iran, Iraq, Syria etc in the mix....man made divisions and the result is chaos.

The status quo will be maintained. The Kurds will be dumped on as they were after Gulf 1. The fact that they made the sacrifice doesn't matter now. The purveyors of weasel words in Baghdad and Ankara have the ear of the west and that's all that matters.
