Just seen this article and mentioned it to a few of the guys in the office to only get blank looks as to who George Weah was.
Granted a few of them are a "few" years younger than myself but surely they should know who he is.
I hold him in the same regard as some of the greats from yesteryear. One of the best strikers to play the game.

I read the other day that George has perhaps been upto some political naughtiness over in Liberia.
As an aside - I see Phil Neville's son is being touted as one to keep an eye on in the future.

Strangely although as fantastic as George Weah was his best league return was 18 goals and best total in a season was 23. When i was a kid in the 90's he, Batistuta and Ronaldo were the players idolised.
