Thanks Shakey

Our owners never fail to surprise, with the shock announcement that CS has been sacked.

All I can say is Thanks for your time here, saved us from almost certain relegation last Season and for the many years of service.

I'm surprised that so many on here would be happy with Sam. He's a level down from the top flight and while he'd probably steady the ship, it's the slippery road to mediocrity.

Completely agree

How's he a level down from the top flight? Leicester need to stay in the league, they are already on a slippery road to mediocrity.

Exactly. If we're not careful we'll soon be worse than mediocre

I like mediocre. It L's Leicester all over. We're comfortable there.

That title win thing scared me. Felt all winny and different. I don't like change.

I can't wait for Andy along to take over as player manager and lead us back to being the yo-yo club we so enjoy being.

Not Stringer's biggest fan, but I thought this was a nice tribute to CS:

"I'll miss him. Above all, he's a nice man. They're rare in football."

maybe that was part of the problem though.

* the niceness, not the rarity!

He also pointed out that Shakey oversaw one of the Greatest Nights in LCFC history, beating Sevilla in the Champions League.

Craig Shakespeare Thankyou for helping our fantastic club to becoming PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 2015/16.
A great coach, approachable, likeable bloke.
Some sadness that you weren't given 3 more games to change it around.
It is with big regret that we couldn't keep you in the coaching side of things. Maybe you were offered this? But want to remain a No1?
I just hope Michael Appleton starts flexing them muscles & kicks a few ar$es before he is also moved on.

Disgraceful treatment of a true Baggies fan, CS.

Isn't it funny the players where bang average but could always lift themselves for a Champions league game i would not give CS all the credit for that night but its great for him to have as a memory of the best of times there aren't many managers who can say that.
