Bats down the order...Conte wants upgrade

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/10/16/antonio-conte-rips-chelsea-players-plans-replace-michy-batshuayi/

Seems Conte has lost patience with Michy Bats & is looking to offload him in January

I said a day or so ago we should make a decent bid for Vardy in January & after watching Leicester last night ...without knowing that this is a potential thing already....he's doing little in a now depleted & pretty average Leicester side.

Can't see anyone else in the Prem really good enough or available....what is certain is we need back up for Morata...sharpish

Conte should also look at himself. How he is setting the team up to play?

I think you and your team made the point well enough.

It was a proper "Greavsie" moment.

I was a bit confused by Bats reaction to being subbed. Anyone else see him looking to the sky as if to say I don't believe this. Ok I admit I'm going on body language but did he really think he deserved to stay on?
I think he probably is suited to playing in a pair up front and we either change our formation or ship him out cos he can't play with his back to goal which is what we ask of our striker
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I read an article today saying he was just really annoyed at himself rather than Conte.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's what I thought at the time. He looked up to the heavens and shouted - he just looked frustrated. I didn't think it was a bad reaction.
But Conte was right to take him off - we may have been playing with 10 men with Batshuayi upfront. What was incredible to me was that Palace, who were rock bottom before the game, had Zaha upfront showing great movement, skill, strength and finishing - absolutely terrorizing our defenders. Meanwhile Chelsea, the Champions of England, had one of the worst strikers in the league. Crazy.

Why can't we play Pedro upfront as a lone striker?

doesn't sound like a Conte plan....apparently Morata is fit anyway

Blue Texan absolutely spot on with both your comments.

Where do we think we'll put Bats out to...?

I'd really like us to try to land Vardy in the window....

Yes Vardy can do a good job as a supersub or second striker for Chelsea.
