Luka completed 10/11 long balls. Only tackled 3 times as well tbf.

Spurs post the actual people attending, unlike Arsenal who posted a crowd of 58,285 for last night`s match, when there were thousands of empty seats. I don`t get it.

My brother in law went last night, nothing on TV I guess. He said there was less than 45,000 if that.

one of em where the ref was 3 yards away?

Hazard got brought down against roma at 1-0 down, edge of the box, raked all the way down his achilles(basically took him out the game). the ref was 3 yards away and gave nothing.

Was baffling.

Only Isco and Ronaldo impressed me on the night.

Their defender, south american looking guy, the one who fell on his backside when Dele scored his second.....awful performance from him. He'd make Lovren look like a class act. kroos was also spraying it everywhere - row a, row z. He kept the ball boys busy at least.

Never got the hype about Benzema! I think he keeps his place cos he passes to ronaldo a lot.

That’s exactly why Benzema is still there. Higuain sold because he doesn’t pass as much and Morata not given chances to start despite outscoring Benzema last season in far less game time.

Benzema has a 1 in 2 record there which isn’t great nowadays, especially at a club where you get chances on a plate. People argue that he sets up a lot but to put it into context I think he’s scored 50 more goals and set up 30 more than Suarez has for Barca in about 150 more games.

thudd- if the record is defined as “the most number of people that have watched an English club side in competitive game” then yes it should absolutely count.
A different record would be “the most that have watched an English club in their own stadium”
