The two wanderers meet today at the molineux stadium, a trip of 89.9 miles for the diehard fans. A frightening trip really as wolves are 4 points clear at the top of the championship with 41 points from 18, the leagues top scorers with 35 goals and in form having won 7 out of the last 8 games. Bolton in form themselves unbeaten in 7 but too many draws. Still 2nd bottom with 13 from 18 Bolton missed a glorious chance to go top of the mini league blowing a 2 goal lead midweek v reading. Pp stands by his tactics were right on the night . Onto today some memories of matches past between the club. The battle of burnden has been mentioned. My main memory was of wolves fans chucking pies at lofty the lion at half time. Also the play off game at burnden which was one of the best atmospheres I can ever remember. Those 2 games have lead to some spicy affairs in games between the 2 clubs ever since. Team news. All very vague these days as we no longer can trust what we read in the Beano. What we do know. Beevers is back from suspension. Chris and Andy Taylor and wilbraham out injured. No news of any new injuries or the whereabouts of the lesser spotted karacan. Changes. Expect just beevers for Burke. Ameobi should start but Armstrong should be dropped for Buckley or noone imo.

Halls got that eye for being in the right place right time and finishing the job but not the first team yet not until the so called first team change the way they play.
There's a big difference in styles of play below the first team it will be hard without a sustained run and chance to adapt if they only get thrown in here and there either as a reward or due to a shortage of players in the first team they'd soon be written off never to be seen again. We've two or three in the U23's who are looking good best we don't kill their chances off altogether under PP. Once upon a time wasn't the plan to "become a trading club" I believe we need to play the same way in the 1st and 2nd team to ease that step up I wouldn't suggest asking Jimmy and David to change and play to match the first team now though.

In amongst all the news and social media hysteria from down the East Lancs was one which stood out Farhad Moshiri said “I really want to give him the support he needs. He can go as far as he wants. We need a strong leader, he gives us that.”
Good luck to Farhad, Sam and Everton.
Sadly some Everton fans don't realise not every club is as lucky to be in such a position plenty of Wanderers fan and fans of many poorer clubs would do anything asked to have such an owner and manger capable of taking away the financial worries while stabilising their clubs.

Good News it's Chrunchie day.
Bad News it's the 1st Dec and start of the silly season as if our season hasn't been silly enough already.
There's always January and a New Year sales to look forward to where Ken will be offering some bargains from the squads and club shop.

Wakey Wakey it's match day grab yourself a full fry up on a barm set yourself up for the long day ahead.
The tune for today is Stand and Deliver a fine and most appropriate one by Adam and the Ants. I know I would do a better job as the match dj even if it meant upsetting the Beano's intrepid one.
