Root-this is your chance for history

and for greatness

posted on 12/12/17

Agreed, I think Roland-Jones potentially offered similar attributes to what Tremlett offered in 2010-11, it's a shame he got injured as it meant we picked Ball.

I think the bowlers can deliver for us as they have done pretty consistently for some time now. As I said before, it's about our batsmen, they set up victories for us in 10-11 and they need to do the same here. Cook getting a nice 150 in his 150th test match would be a great starting point.

Root is a snowflake. Shouldn't be anywhere near the captaincy. He was shaking in the press conference just now, sounding like a whimpering libtard.

Who would you recommend?

One change for the 3rd test. Barstow bat's 6 moeen 7. Shifting the deck chairs round on the titanic.

Bairstow in before Moeen is how we should have lined up for the first 2 tests. Although Bairstow isn't batting all that well and the batting is a bit of a shambles anyway.

This is quite a lot of analysis on what we already knew although it's interesting that Woakes and Broad can fling it down well in excess of 90mph and Jimmy getting up over 89, didn't know the old boy had it in him, thought 86-87 was his quickest.

I predict another England bending

in 2010 there was the apparent bowl off lol

if that scenario was used here then tom curran has out-bowled woods in the recent tour match and shud be in the squad.

maybe ithe ecb should start teaching how to sledge to combat aussies sledging seeing the current chipring is out-dated.
