Roy Keane has taken a sledgehammer to Brendan Rodgers ’ claim qualifying for the Europa League is a great achievement.
The former Manchester United and Celtic midfielder was reacting to his fellow Irishman for praising his players for guaranteeing European football after Christmas – despite the 1-0 home loss to Anderlecht in the Champions League.
Keane, speaking as a pundit on ITV’s highlights package, poked fun at the Celtic boss – insisting surviving as a manager nowadays must be to 'set your standards really, really low'.
The 46-year-old former Republic of Ireland star said: "Really, I thought it was a shocking result, really poor performance. Brendan's talking there about it being a great achievement.
"I think the key to management nowadays is to set your standards really, really low and you'll be in the game for a long time.
"It's just not acceptable for Celtic, it really isn't. Losing at home to Anderlecht, come on, give me a break."

Autobiography definition.
How I was right a the time and every kant was wrang.
I'm disputing it btw.
At the time a nephew was PR and Celtic TV.
No way was he offered.
And you must remember the feelings on here.
Not one Sellick was in agreement with him as coach.

Mighty
Fek da fenihunery patter....is it snowing down her manor?
Wet snow here two hunner yards from coast, but settling two mile up the road in Carrick hills....Baltic on motorbike from work through Glengormley.
Like it a lot, and several more inches due later, as a girl in the office said today😁

bbab not talked in a while.
No snow in the West Central Belt mate.
Been plenty of it on higher ground past few weeks.
We're looking at minus 4 night time for the next few days.
You're not much above that.
Absence of clouds is the only reason we'll not be seeing snow.
The high winds have pushed the snow banks out into the North Sea.
Weather's been fantastic IMO past month for this time of year.
Few days last week sunny all day and there was heat in the air.
