Do you guys who go to Elland Road regularly (l live down south so don't get there often) get the feeling there's team spirit and the desire and belief to go up this season? I take my readings from what I hear on these message boards and if that's anything to go by, there's a general feeling we're not realistic promotion contenders.

If we’re 7th I want us to go for 6th, if we’re 12th I want us to go for 11th, I don’t just give up because we didn’t finish top or whatever and I don’t think you’re a true fan if that’s how you approach things.

I agree with Jonty. It's silly to say that it doesn't matter where we finish if it's outside the top six. I want Leeds to finish as far up the table as possible. If we are 9th I want us to be 8th, and I'll go to every game I can or support from a distance until that is realised.

Everyone here wants Leeds to be a Premier League club, but everyone here should also want Leeds to finish as high up the table as we can finish.

Of course we all want the team to have finished higher up the table than it probably will, but I still maintain if we finish outside the top 6 it is irrelevant what the actual position in the table is. We will have failed - end of!
