Hooper/Winnall/Rhodes ............ all great and better than what we have on paper, yet with exception of Hooper delivering nowt.

I take your point though, having a load of "quality" strikers at this level doesn't guarantee success, but it would be nice to have some proper options. Wednesday have also had a lot of injuries this season.

If he does well we may well be, Derby only care about top 2 though (and I know they've blown up big before).

Birmingham look like complete morons.

If we spend decent money on a striker, we have a chance of a top six finish. If not, I think we'll be lucky to finish top 10 for the following reasons: I believe we've been more lucky than unlucky in our points haul so far this season. The team temperament (and morale) looks more fragile than ever after the Newport debacle. We're only 3pts above 11th placed Brentford, with a similar goal average so another bad run of form will quickly take is well into the bottom half.
