On Saturday January 27th 1973 Wolves hosted Liverpool at Molineux. An own goal from Liverpool’s Emlyn Hughes put Wolves on the road to victory against a Liverpool side destined to win the Division 1 championship that season. Kevin Keegan levelled the score but Wolves were not to be denied and 12 minutes from time, the in-form John Richards wrong footed his markers and beat Ray Clemence. Today Wolves travel to East Anglia where Nuno Espirito Santo will get the chance to cross swords with ex Wolves boss Mick McCarthy, possibly for the last time.
Whilst high flying Wolves top the league table and have their focus set firmly on promotion, Ipswich find themselves, once again, in mid table obscurity. Currently occupying 12th spot, they are slap bang in the middle of the table but nevertheless, only 6 points shy of the play offs.

Defensive errors have been the biggest problem for Ipswich this season and no team above them in the league have conceded more goals. On the other hand, scoring goals has not been a problem with no team below them in the league having scored more.

in the early weeks of the season Wolves made winning games look easy with their brand of fast, free flowing football impressing pundits and rival managers alike. However, 2018 has not been quite the same story. Goals have been increasingly hard to come by as rival teams have found ways to stymie Nuno’s wolf pack and the fast pace of previous months has become a little more pedestrian of late.

Last week Wolves were soundly beaten at home by Nottingham Forest and the 2,000 travelling fans will be hoping that, as on previous occasions when beaten, Nuno has found a way to inspire his players to bounce back with a positive result. It’s to be hoped that taking the entire squad out to southern Spain for a week’s training camp will have the desired effect and the players will return rejuvenated and ready to once again, put teams to the sword in their quest for the league championship title and the promotion that it promises.
Certainly, Wolves have the talent within the squad to record another victory having only lost twice on the road this season. However, 8 of the Tractor Boys’ 12 wins have been at home, the kind of home form that will provide a tough test for anyone visiting Portman Road.

Halfy s prediction:
Heart: 1-2
Head: 1-1

It's the childish manner in which our man from the North posted his remark. Oh wait, he'll review it, I guess that's different then.

Plus if someone calls me an idiot, I'll respond. Simple.

I would argue that any manner in which you post about blocking or unblocking someone is childish. It’s the equivalent of telling someone you’re not inviting someone to your birthday party.

You would argue anything I post, in it's your nature, so there's nothing different there and at my age, you don't have birthday parties.

Yes we kept possession well Halfy, it was a mixture of short and long passing that led to the goal
