"When you are in four competitions, fighting to be there, sometimes you have to be lucky in terms of injuries or have 22 top players.
"But to have 22 players, you need - people maybe don't believe me - money we do not have. To compete in a high level you need 22 top players.
"Today, 22 top players is so expensive. You cannot buy. Even City. There are salaries we cannot pay and there are transfers we cannot pay."
This guy is honestly the biggest fraud in football. Signings of Laporte and Fred will take Pep’s spending to almost HALF A BILLION POUNDS on 19 players in just 18 months.
Half a billion in 18 months 😂 and then he has the audacity to say City don’t have the money to win the quadruple. Would love to see Pep at a club like Spurs or Liverpool who don’t have unlimited resources just to expose this guy for the fraud that he is. Yea his teams play pretty football but it’s not hard to when he takes the easiest jobs out there and can bully pretty much any club financially in the transfer market. United stood up to them with Alexis and baldy is still butthurt about it.
Pep will buy the premier league this season but won’t be surprised if that’s all he ends up with. Considering the financial outlay would one trophy on 2 years really be seen as a success from the so called genius Fraudiola?
Fraudiola strikes again

City and PSG need to be dealt with. It's beyond a joke now. I'm all for new teams joining the scene but when you're competing against regimes and small countries the playing field is well and truly fecked.
City have spent half a billion on players in 2 years yet their income and revenue can not sustain. We make about 150m more per year and I think we're close to the max so it's pretty clear their owner is still responsible for a lot of the cash.

If it’s so clear you can explain it then you asshat the bitterness simply oozes with you stretty.
Wasn’t the Portuguese eye gouger moaning about money the other week.

Pep isn't a fraud, but he isn't as special as made out to be. He has had to top players and team in every league he's been in except the first season at City, where their defence needed to be changed as their players were past it or not up to the level anymore. They spent around £150-200m on fixing that area. When they get Larporte, their back 4 will be £200. So Pep saying what he is saying is BS.

You spent 90 million on one player 75 on another and thats on top of the highest wages in football, how much was zlatan on in his first season how much did you pay for Di Maria?

Whenever there is a debate and sensible comments are being made, you can always rely on sheriff to turn up and make a fool out of himself.
Ignoring the fact a manager has spent the most money ever spent on a team in two years and making out Pep is some kind of geniusinherited a world class squad with title winning players and spent half a billion. Yet its nothing to do with any of that, Pep is just a genius
What a moron
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1) I never said City's success had nothing to do with the money they've spent. There is nowhere I said this. You're a window-licking imbecile though, so it's no surprise reading comprehension isn't a strong suit of yours.
Money matters. Arsenal are a better team than West Ham or Fulham or Leyton Orient cos we spend more money. Hell, our wage bill was almost double Spurs last season and we've vastly outspent them in transfers, yet, they finished 11 solid points ahead of us. The best predictor of league position in the CL era has been player wages.
2) City's spending and Guardiola's genius aren't (or don't have to be) mutually exclusive. His spending big money doesn't detract from his ability as a manager. His excellent 3 years at Barca have basically made him for life, ensuring he'll always get the best jobs and work for people who have enough faith in him to spend whatever he wants. That's no fault of his. He can't diminish his ambitions just to satisfy his detractors. It's as silly as those insisting Messi has to "prove" himself outside Barcelona.

What has United's expenditure got to do with whether Pep is a fraud?

I'd guess measuring the comparative progression of both clubs who are both the biggest spenders in Europe might disprove the notion of Pep being a "fraud". You might not concede it, but I believe without a shred of doubt that had Pep taken over Man U two summers ago, you'd be in a better position than you are now AND you'd be playing far better, more expansive, more entertaining football than you're playing.
It's all conjecture though.

What an ignorant dullard you are. Income doesn’t mean profit and neither are what you can spend and pass the FFP regime. After so many years, you’d think you’d say something useful.

Sorry, I still don't understand the relevance.
I agree with you that Pep would have done a better job at United than Jose is doing, and I haven't called Pep a fraud.
I see no relevance in United's spending when discussing this point.
Fact is that at this stage, Pep seems to need a huge amount of money to get his team playing the way he wants.
How much credit can you give a manager for sorting out a defence, when he's spend hundreds of millions doing it?

Did you not see Man City 2013/14 season side. If they didn't have such a bad start they would have most likely broken a lot of records.
