Just picked up on this on Facebook. It's why I have never felt motivated to go to away matches.

Great game Saturday, a work colleague of mine went with his daughter and grandson, now this guy is 66/67, as he was leaving the ground going past the away fans turnstiles he was punched from behind in the side of his head, this split his ear and split the cartilidge in his inner ear, he ended up in new cross till 4.30am . I knew from previous encounters the blades fans were sc*m, but this takes it to a new level

I read that gem. Sad that there are still those isolated incidents. Generally there aren't as many nowadays but the problem hasn't gone away. I heard there were a few scuffles after the game on Saturday although I saw nothing myself. Cant remember there being any trouble at matches between Wolves and Sheff Utd in the past, although I did get injured myself after one game at Bramall Lane. Walking along the road outside the ground minding my own business when suddenly a police horse came from between two coaches and flattened me. Nothing but trouble these coppers
