Not necessarily that exact formation but those positions on the pitch could well be where the players end up as the game is played. Newcastle are a very defensive side so will sit back and allow us to sit in their half and just try to defend as much as possible. We should only have Matic as the shield and the front 5 do what they can to breach that poor Newcastle defence.
Wouldn’t be against Mata keeping his place btw. He was very good last week. Perhaps him in for Lingard?

We will. Be attacking in this game so don't need Shaw who's utterly shiiit going forward. Any game involving attacking should never involve Shaw. Young.

Pretty obvious he must be out for a reason, no way would Jose leave him out for two center backs and a left back against newcastle. We only have Mata as an attacking option from the bench.
