FA Cup draw - Oh what a surprise!

So Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea and Spurs all avoid each other in the quarter final draw. Wow, I could never have predicted that. Not!

Proper tin foil hat article
----------------------------------------------------------------------
SO. if 8 little balls come out of a bag in a certain way, huge companies gain millions of $'s...
If they come out a different way, they stand to lose out. Now, the football ( remember FIFA etc etc??? ) people gain massively, the big clubs gain massively, game on the TV, much better chance to reach the semi at Wembley and MORE TV money etc, the smaller clubs get the big game against a big name which means it will be televised and bigger gate receipts /publicity and tv money etc . The TV men make millions from advertisers as the viewing figures increase - same applies to radio stations, newspaper circulation etc etc
So pretty much EVERYONE gains massively, all in an industry obsessed with money and run by and the money men.
To imagine they would NOT fix a draw is tin foil hat naivety at it's finest!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is fack all money in the FA cup for clubs compared to the PL and CL. The difference in revenue is huge. It doesn’t have the gravitas or sponsorship to pay the dividends that CL football or winning the PL does for the big clubs

Are you honestly saying the big clubs are going to basically agree to something illegal which would ruin their brand globally and see them face criminal charges for about £2m quid? It’s peanuts to them - nothing in terms of what they would lose if they were exposed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who said the clubs themselves are in on anything? Why would they have to be? No, it's the money men who gain the most. Big game = big revenue, regardless of the competition. Your naivety here is alarming, from so many of you! You don't believe in corruption in big business and in football?? Do you think the big clubs would care if they get favourable draws?
Also, to the fools banging about Michael Owen...you really think there isn't any way to fix a draw without involving a weak link such as an ex-footballer? So, so simple minded you people are.
Have you ever watched Derran Brown? Just because YOU or I cannot give a snap answer to how something is done, doesn't mean it can't be. When millions of £'s is at stake, a few balls in a bag and some numbers all done via TV would not be a problem to clever people with months and months to work on it.
The funny thing is, I bet half of the people laughing at this article DO believe in ghosts, fake moon landings and even some god in the sky! Gullible, but won't believe football could bend the rules for cash!? HAHA!

He didn’t even say anything. Draw was made and they went straight back to the studio.

Anyway Michael Owen has played for Liverpool, Newcastle, Real Madrid and United. I think he can handle the pressure 😂

Spurs haven't played their semi final yet.

I know they have a replay at Wembley and its 1/4 final but it wasn't straight forward

Well that wasnt supposed to happen was it.
Southampton or Wigan in the semis.
The Fa couldnt ' fix a hole where the rain comes in '

Then again they will probably end up playing spurs at
their home ground. How does that wor out. Surely if
Spurs get to the semi it should be played at Cardiff.

And good post Ian, you are only saying what most people are thinking.

Yes they should if the semi final is supposed to be at a neutral ground. But that would also take the gloss off a bit if your team was expecting a trip to Wembley.

I think it should only be the final at Wembley anyway. But same goes for the final with Spurs as well
