Does where you sit make a difference

On how you view a game.

Take daughter to about six games a season, a few in Kop and transfer to family stand for a few.

Today was sat about five rows from back of family stand , had a great square on view, and you do get a different angle on the game.

Another thing

I was brought up in family stand but never remember it being so rammed at half time in concourse

Of course it does. I have always preferred the side on view and its even better in the East Stand Upper. Sat up there you can appreciate player movement and just how many blades of grass Lee Bowyer used to cover. Had a season ticket for years up there. Lack of atmosphere but you can really study the game and if i was manager of Leeds thats where i would be sitting - with a mic down to the assistant on the bench.

Did you see the trouble in the East Stand today LIW?

East stand upper is the best view by far. Love it up there when I take my younger brother.

South stand the best for atmosphere but a pretty poor view. Depends on what game you’re going to.

Family stand is superb view, in line with Koop penalty area line. You see it all, and you do get a different view. Especially as you're sat down and more comfortable. That's why I've probably rarely agreed with your ratings liw lol

Best view is East Upper. See the whole game, runs, movement, everything.

I like a low pitch side view behind a goal though. Right close to the nets, just think the atmosphere is great and when a goal goes in you can almost see it from a player's level.

You get a terrible view wherever you sit at the moment. Restricted view behind a large person in an enormous hat would probably be best.

Sit in L31 on half way line mid way up, IMO best place to view a game is square on, the lower down the faster it appears, from behind the goal you see the structure of the play.

Which ever way we see it from at the moment, it’s not good.

east stand is utterly rammed at HT... when I was younger (and a fat kid ) I used to go down 10 mins before HT to get my burger....

Now I sit in the kop, age 35.. and I have a six pack.... coincidence ?

on a serious note, I think the best seats I ever had to veiw the game was the North West Corner, was just after the East stand was built... near the kop for the atmosphere, good view of the newly built east stand... decent seats...
