Shocked nobody from Spurs are looking at backup strikers from outside the top 6. We're well stocked in the Zaha / Mahrez role albeit they're quality players.

I'd personally go for Vardy. He's at that age where he might be happy being a sub / not starting every match and he's a hell of an impact player to come on with his pace. Great option against teams where we need to counter. Not necessarily great against the majority of teams who park the bus though..

We have Son has our back up striker. Is just as pacey but with better technique.

Give me Mahrez over anyone else

I don't think Son is as quick as Vardy and I don't believe he's as good in the striker position as he is playing on the wing.

More long term I think that remains to be seen. He wasn't always that effective playing up top last season when Kane was out.

"Vardy is nothing more than a over the top run onto it striker."

Nothing wrong with that if you're good at it. We have the players and manager who can potentially get more out of him, albeit, as a second choice striker.

I would probably still go for Zaha myself

I still think there is potentially a very good centre-forward there.

Pretty close between Mahrez and Zaha. Not too many shouts outside of these two.

I like quite a lot of the Southampton squad:

Cedric
Bertrand
Ward-Prowse
Romeu

Not sure any would make our squad, but bizarre how badly they're doing this year.

At Chelsea we really need a CM alongside Kanté and a striker.

Vardy or Doucoure

Fairly unoriginally....I'd go for Mahrez.

Vardy would be a decent option, but a little bit too racist for my liking.

Nobody really stands out, so none.

Definitely not Vardy or Mahrez. Filthy rodents.
