No it wasn’t

It might still be because they can beat the points record.

If we break the points record then we have to be.

Big ask though

I still think regardless of what points they get that the invincibles acheivment was better. In addition a team fighting on two fronts with the CL too which is something United have done twice. We all know how much the latter stages of CL takes out on teams.

The Invicobles won only 26 games. I think a team that ends up beating the points and most wins record is better.

I don’t think you can say a QF isn’t fighting on two fronts.

They also won the League Cup.

And as above, a points record is more impressive than going unbeaten. We play for points at the end of the day, not to avoid defeat.

Both scenarios lead to the same thing which was a PL title. City tried to be invincibles but fell short. Both played an attractive brand of football but while one team spent the other team had the biggest transfer budget in world football.

Thoroughly deserved

Playing some of the best football this league has seen. He effectively won the title with two no. 10s playing as 8s.

The width primarily came from the wide forwards instead of the fullbacks. Good ol' english way of getting chalk on your boots eh guys?

The full backs helped with build up play.

Never done before in this league.
