Puel lays out his vision for Leicester

We’re ahead of schedule. When I took over I was lucky as the old style that the players were suited to got us results, by now I can really see progress and my ideas are getting across.

The players have adapted really well, and some of them have adapted faster than I thought. Take Vardy and Mahrez, they have really understood the need for more controlled possesion and fewer chances to score. Vardy has been working hard to take his one chance a day we give him in training, I’m impressed.

Others have really stepped forward. I never thought Simpson could be an attacking full back and he can’t. But he’s a trier so I’ll keep asking him to fail.

When I have a full pre-season I’ll really be able to get my ideas across and we’ll be able to play the last 20 minutes of each game like the first. Controlled possesion. We’ll definitely lose most games, and I’m really sure we can achieve our target of relegation, but that will take real effort for my ideas to be adopted for a full game.

3 wins in 12 suggests we’re ahead of target and I really think we can increase our possesion stats whilsts losing more games next year. I’m already preparing for it.

Yes. Plenty. This season has signalled the end of any chance of a top club coming in but do you honestly think the likes of West Ham wouldn't snap him up if they had the chance?

There are 10 or so other positions to fill before we worry about replacing Kasper.

If Maguire does go to Man City, a swap deal for Stones would look appealing for sure.

Is that likely? Surely not!

It a chance!

Also raises the question, why would any player want to come to us, decent players of course, better than those we have?

Not a chance.

As for Pep Guardiola, it turns out now that all his success has been built on starting a reign at Barcelona after watching the Leicester City title win and then carrying through those principles to Bayern Munich and now to Manchester City. Not only has be built a reputation for himself as the best manager in the world, he's built a time machine. The man's a true genius of our time.

Ok ok I already realised my mistake in the way I worded it.

I should have said the similarities in the way they’ve ran away with the League ( and the known way Peo plays ) is obvious but with a far better squad to do it!

Dung do you think any premier league teams would come in for him? I hope we get a new No 1 keeper next season.

That’s Great Nev, how much did their squad cost by the way? whats that got to do with the price of tea in china?
Its the style of play and the players willingness to do it but it does not matter as you said they are copying Nigels play book

Just so you know Nev, Guardiola spent £365.85m in 2 years to get them where they are and that's after all the money spent before he came in, are we going to match that to play like them?

Apparently Spurs want Gray now as well who also wants away because he isn’t getting enough game time.

Apparently Spurs fans are bemused why they eould want s player not good enough to feature full time for little old Leicester.

The vultures are well and truly circling a Club that isn’t doing enough to attract or keep it players.

To be fair, if I was a Spurs fan and they're being linked with Gray, I too would be asking why they're chasing someone from our bench rather than making a statement and shelling out for Mahrez. Particularly if they're serious about staying one of the big boys.
