Huge game for my local club(Montrose) this Saturday, have not won a title since 84/85 season( they got relegated 2 seasons later), they go into the last game of the season only needing a point to secure the title (v Elgin City at Home), promotion in 90/91 and 94/95 by finishing RU twice, but were relegated the year later both times and remained in the bottom league of Scottish Football since, almost got relegated out of the league completely 3 seasons ago but beat highland league side Brora Rangers in a play off...will be a huge achievement to beat Peterhead to the title

then away to Celtic (Hibs v Rangers)

After our “ journey “ thru the divisions I’ve a lot of respect for the smaller teams.
No glamour or big money, no fancy stadiums but they are as devoted as any of the “ bigger club “ fans
I used to be part of those that said we should just get rid of the smaller teams and have two 16-20 team leagues but after being down in those divisions and going to a few of their grounds I changed my mind

I was like that too IE and thought there should only be one team in Angus but if they can survive financially then don’t see the problem Montrose were voted community club of the season
