I mentioned an offer was made a few weeks ago but by Europeans not Asians. It may not surprise many if it comes through.

I think there is a chance he is being courted - something could be cooking.
“Zaw Zaw Net Worth – $5 billion
Zaw Zaw, one of Myanmar’s most successful and notorious business tycoon and chairman of Max Myanmar Group of Companies, a major conglomerate with former interests in gems and active interests in construction, mechanical engineering, transportation, hotel and tourism, rubber. Zaw Zaw efforts for Myanmar football as the Chairman of Myanmar Football Federation starting from 2005, were recognized by the Asean Football Federation and was instrumental in the MFF picking up the AFF Association of the Year award at the AFF Awards 2013 in the first week of April.”

Ok - what I’m thinking is AR is not stupid. He knew damn well this trip would cause a rumpus but I don’t think he’s taking the team over there just so he can sell the club. Why would he?
No - with his Wolves outburst he has either backed himself into a corner or he knew all along that to copy their model he would need investment. They spent £50m and he either doesn’t have that to burn or doesn’t want to burn it.
So my thoughts are that this trip is purely about investment and taking Leeds there will help facilitate that.
We all know how profitable it can be to get a far eastern fan base on board and this would probably happen if we took investment in from that area.
Whatever your view on the trip - it’s to gain investment for the club - and teams have been getting investment from the Middle and Far East for years now. China, Thailand, Qatar, etc, etc. None of which have great Human Rights issues. Throw Russia into that mix as well.
Not TOMA in my view but definitely investment so AR can copy the Wolves model.

Stoopo, I have reliable info that AR has approached a Leeds resident, well known to many here, for a £10m investment for a 20% stake in the club.
I was told his reaction was "does he think I'm nuts!"

I’ll take that at face value but I haven’t heard a dicky bird about that.

Might need to turn the hearing aid up a bit there, Stoopo...
