Now that Chelsea have claimed our 'putting the pressure on' trophy suddenly the top 4 race is on....and i dont think we can leave Liverpool out of this equation.
LFC - P36 Pts 72 GD+42
Spurs P34 Pts 68 GD+35
CFC P35 Pts 66 GD+26
What makes it that bit more interesting is that Liverpool have the UCL SF and possible final to come AND Chelsea play Liverpool at the Bridge next week, after LFCs mid week game at Roma. They have struggled a bit to maintain EPL and UFC form at the same time.
That game next week could be a real classic with potentially a lot riding on it. A CFC win and it could be squeaky bum time on the last day of the season.
Spurs need to take care of their own business. Win our last 4 games - Watford (h) WBA (a) Newcastle(h) Leicester (h) and we're third. Only WBA have anything to play for and could be down by the time we turn up.
Mathematically W3 and D1 and we're top 4, due to much better GD than Chelsea.
While our big game form against the better teams is up and down, over the past few seasons we've shown that we have been able to cope with the pressure to win key games. Our current form looks a bit ropey but we must have enough quality to get this done! If we don't then we really do not deserve to be top 4.

Can't wait for tomorrow night and us to pick up the three points so everyone stops panicking.
We are 1/100 with the bookies to make top 4. We are a quality team who face four very average ones with nothing to play for.
I would be very disappointed to pick up less than 10 points. I expect us to finish 3rd.

The four average teams that you say Spurs face, they have only actually beaten one of them this season, Newcastle first day of the season. Leicester lost, Watford and WBA drew. This sort of arrogance is usually what undoes Spurs.
Every team Spurs face now has to be treated like they are playing Barcelona or the like.

No mate, mathematically we only need 8 points (2 wins, 2 draws) to finish on 76 points. Chelsea can only achieve 75 maximum, so 8 points guarantees us CL and goal difference doesn't come into it.

In that case then 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss would surely be enough if your GD is so much better.

Not for me, it's better by about +10? If we did have a loss that drops to +9, we have the draw it stays +9 but meanwhile Chelsea whack someone 4-0, it becomes +5. Unacceptable to leave it to 7 points & GD when 8 points guarantees it.
