He'll either be sacked or walk next season. The cracks are already appearing.

Also,that would be one of the most inconsistant,frustrating front 3 you can ever imagine.If we had a Firmino type in there,a player who can comfortably play central,then you have a far more balanced attack.

I still think Mata has something to offer as a squad player. He’s not been great this season but he still has quality.

I’m not sure he’ll go this summer. I think he’ll see out his contract. At his age on his wages there wonmt be a massive amount of takers for him.

I don’t agree it’s pointless having as a squad player but there are signs of decline, I agree. Issue though as I said is where he goes. Despite selling him to us from Chelsea Mourinho hasn't actually shown many signs with us that he doesn’t want Mata at the club.

I’d be in favour of Pereira coming back to replace Mata in the squad and someone brought in for the right when Martial goes.
