It’s obvious that his time at Real is coming to a close. Looks like he’s failed to completely settle and injury record has been abysmal.
The ever changing daily rumour for the past few months changes from Spurs, Man U, Chelsea, Bayern, PSG and even Arsenal. My question is though would you guys be happy if we resigned Bale. Not saying this is likely to happen prob due to wages being a major factor. But an ever present rumour suggests we have some sort of clause/Madrid still owe us some money.
But with his injury record and perhaps he might even want to be seen as the “main man" at the club would this be a good addition or not for us?
Or is it best for all parties to just live with the memories we have of him tearing it up for us.
Currently I’m 50/50 and unsure tbh. What I will say though is that it will be uncomfortable watching him play for a rival club if he does come back to England (seems inevitable) especially if he scores against us.

Yeah I would have him. When he's not injured he falls into the world class bracket. Are these not the sort of players we need to get us over the line in big games like Man United in the semi or Juventus in the CL? You saw what he did the other day in a big game. It would inevitably make our squad stronger, so why not? When was the last time this club made a marquee signing?
People talk about him being injury prone, and it makes it a little bit of a risk, but he's played in over 30 games this season and he doesn't always get on because of the other options Madrid have.
Add to the fact that he brings with him a degree of flexibility in where he can play, a wealth of big game experience, and is probably a better set piece taker than anyone we have right now.

Well said. He might not be Ronaldo, but who is?
I think he's known for some time he's going to be shipped on. For the first time since he joined us, his on-pitch demeanour was positively rotten a month or two ago.
In all, he's had a poor season for us so far, to the point he's spent a lot of time on the bench despite apparently being physically fit - but even though he never quite lived up to the disproportionate expectations, I'd still rate his time with us as an overall success.
Despite not quite becoming the player we'd hoped for, and despite his injury trouble, personally I'd still keep him if we could afford to have him on our books, which I think we won't be able to if we do indeed intend to splash big this summer.

Sorry, all of the above was to say that I think you'd be mad to pass up on him if you could afford him.
That said though, if his arrival were to unsettle rather than convince Kane to stay, then it could well end up backfiring.

Unsure why been 1 starred as I’ve not said anything controversial and it was a genuine question that I was interested in hearing the views of other fans lol

I think we'd pay him £200k plus a sign-on and bonuses taking him up to £300k a week. We'd pay for it in shirt sales
Dont think Kane could argue being paid less than a La Liga winning, 2 (or 3) times UCL winning Gareth Bale......difficulty might come if Bale spends his time injured or is a bit too galactico for his boots.
It would be a risk but we are crying out for a game changing force of nature
