I think the point is fairly obviously , Stevie g isn’t a proven manager whereas Rodgers is.

His stock among the fans down there is low after the bottle job and subsequent falling apart of his Liverpool side, huge questions in the transfer market as well. Cannot see anything but a European trophy with Celtic changing that enough to interest a top 6 club.

I think he’s struggled to shake off the Brent likeness following that car crash of a series
