Just finished the first season of this on Netflix and thought it was a pretty good show but just seen that Season 2 isn't being made.
Anyone seen any news on this recently and will Netflix save it?
As an aside whats the one show you watched that got cancelled too early? Whats the one show you watched that went on too long (but you persevered to see the ending)?
Cut short for me would have to be Heroes - it was beset by issues with the writers strike which really didn't help the launch of the second season and it got left on a massive cliffhanger in season 4 - really needed another season just to round it off. (Shout out for Firefly though - brilliant show that only had the one season).
Too long for me would be the Walking Dead. I have persevered with it but it really should be coming to an end now as a show. Great concept and great arts dept for the effects and stuff but just seems to be dragging on. Will still watch season 8 though.

I just learnt that Dark Matter season 4 has been scrapped by SyFy
Never really understood why the Sarah Connor Chronicles was crapped by Fox (blaming low ratings after moving it to the dead Friday evening slot )

I might be in a major minority here, however I always felt that Star Trek: Enterprise could and should have been given another season to finish things off a little more cleanly

Flash Forward was great for about 3 episodes and could have been good, probably deserved another series.

There was one called The Event that I started getting into before it got cancelled way too early.

Obviously not a series, but I'm still amazed they decided not to make the second Girl with the Dragon Tattoo movie. The first one is very good, and the books are excellent.

Agreed. It was a great show, then that last few episodes, you could see where they'd suddenly been told it was the last series so tie up every plot point aqap!!
