The only two emotions applicable to football in May !

1st,
Championship play-off final.
Villa v Fulham, 5pm ko. (? what was wrong with 3pm)
As far as fair goes. 3rd v 4th as it should be. the pretenders Boro & Derby well behind on points, and rightly out of it,
Fulham favourites for me. 5 pts clear of Villa with a slightly better goal difference too, (+33 v +30)
The United v Chelsea final was around 4thou short of capacity ! Can these two sides go one better & make it a full house ?

2nd.
The BIG ONE, as perceived by the Euro audience.
Real Madrid v Liverpool. 7:45pm ko. (Kiev - Ukraine)
On paper, I'd say the Spanish side will be deemed by many as out & out favourites. But there's something about 'scouse' spirit when it comes to games like this. I think the reds are going to pull this one off. The fans will certainly make it feel like a home tie for their team, provided.........
They can get there ?
How frustrating, cancelled flights, one reason being the company involved don't have a license ?
Some allegedly paying up to £2000 for return flights
If it had been 'TOWN'. I'd have made sure & ridden there myself.(with or without a ticket)

3rd.
Rotherham v Shrewsbury. 3pm Sunday.
I hope the Millers can do it, But Shrewsbury might prove too strong on the day, as they had been right up there neck & neck with Wigan for much of the season in an AutoProMo spot. There again.
Don't forget how well Rotherham played in the 1st round of the Carabao cup at TOWN early on in the season. My recollection, How well the Millers defended, and how much pace they showed on the counter !!
a narrow 2-1 win for TOWN having to come from behind.
So who knows, This could be a real good game for the neutral fan to watch...

4th.
Monday.. 3pm,
Coventry City v Exeter City.
2nd bite for Exeter, beaten last season by Blackpool in the same fixture. Coventry experiencing success last season in their final (Checkatrade trophy !). Despite finishing 4th, Will nerves, pressure, expectation be too much for the Devonshire side ? or will they be motivated enough to win at all costs.
There's the 'Robins' connection for Town fans re- Coventry.
I never liked the way we played under him, And he abandoned ship after the 1st home game (v Bournemouth) & resigned as Town boss. !
Cov too finished 5pts adrift of Exeter, and are in effect having a 2nd bite, Come on Exeter.
