I am so happy with the way the club is going about it's business. Keita and Fabinho in and Fekir wanting to join us before the world cup :D
I'd love for the owners to spunk £90m (or whatever the release clause is) on Oblak. I'm not a huge Butland fan. He played in a poor relegated Stoke side conceding a ton of goals. I guess if you throw enough mud at a wall some of it will stick. To be honest, anyone but Karius. Even before the CL final he was a liability. I wish him well in his future career and hope he proves me wrong.
I wouldn't mind a new CB, but i'm hoping with a full preseason together that VVD and Lovren can gel. I'm probably in the minority in thinking Dejan has improved with the arrival of big Vin.
Next year we really do need to be pushing for silverware. I'm fed up being the bridesmaid. I WANT TO BE THE GOD DAM BRIDE
But away from that.... i'm feeeeeelling gooood.

It's Matip we should replace for me, Lovren has done well and is a good centre back beside Virg, I think Matip is too timid, we'd get a decent price for him too and frees up a space in the squad for a high earner, would love Alderwield or however it's spelled, he's the type of signing we need to Bring in, someone experienced who goes straight into the first 11. Gomez is 4th choice then.

Think our midfield has been a weakness this season and I'm glad we are addressing that. Keita is obviously a top talent and Fabinho is a top signing as well.
Don't remember the last time we were signing such top class players on a consistent basis.

And defo not butland he's decent but we should go all out if we're getting a keeper.

Defo the dynamic of the midfield has changed completley with the two lads, plus ox was really stepping up and if he can get back to Where he was he really brings something to our midfield

Don't think there's any need to buy a CB unless a truly top quality one is available. Lovren is fine next to VVD and we had the best defensive record in the league for 75% of the season.
Would be wiser to use the money on a keeper and more attacking depth.

I think Gomez will shift in cb now TAA and Clyne have the RB slot sewn up.
Lovren, Matip, VVD and Gomez for cbs....i think thats fine.

In the past 29 league games we conceded 22 goals which was the least in the league and 75% of the season so do tell me what's so funny?
And using a game where we conceded 1 wonder goal and 2 goalkeeper mistakes backs up my point to spend it on a keeper, not the defence...
