How does VAR not call those?

Genuine question even to rival countries, how can the team of VAR not review the 2 blatant WWF on Kane?

I am all for VAR but its blatant errors like these that will have people asking whats the point. Terrible decisions absolutely disgusting not be called back.

Kane was trying to be sly. He grabbed the defenders arm and fell. Standard Pochneys tactics.

Typical mouser! Even in the light of overwhelming evidence to Kane being fouled, this mouser is blaming Poch

How old are you? Can't be more than 12? Are you even supporting England?

Nothing wrong with gamesmanship. It’s what the top sides do. The 2nd one was a blatant player arm grab which is why it wasn’t a pen.

Ref was an utter disgrace and VAR team should be made to explain why the pen wasn't given in the first half. I don't want to see that officiating team at this tournament again, they are not good enough.

The Tunisians are some of the biggest cheats and time wasters I have ever seen. At one point a Tunisian tried to claim an injury because a ball hit him on the hip

Clearly two stonewall penalties on Kane - once you put your arm round a players neck and apply force it's over - and VAR missed them both.
For the idiots who want to get rid of VAR for missing these - how does that help ? We want the impartial and expert use of VAR, not it's removal...

The first one wasn't a penalty because stones pushed someone in the back first

It's a good system and needs to stay, the problem it has is human error. I honestly think the same VAR team should do every World Cup match and they should be made to explain key decisions, as should refs. It would make things so much better

Yes, but I think American football has a better system - where if you think you are hard done by you "throw a flag on the play" (in football it would need to be the Captain that elects when to do it) - if it's reviewed and you were wrong then you lose an appeal ''life' and perhaps you only get 2 appeal 'lifes' per game - it stops the game being reviewed constantly for silly stuff.

Glad someone else saw it. It's so blatant.

Even the first, Kane wraps his arm over the defender's shoulder then flops backwards and brings his opponent down with him.

Both falls are clearly engineered by Kane in an attempt to con the ref. Should've been booked both times.

Did VAR even check them? Ref seemed to say no and then got the game underway straight away. First was a stone wall pen, I think the 2nd was too though Kane did use his arm as well, though only once he was already being fouled.

The VAR panel is in permanent contact with the ref and continuously reviews incidents. No reason to think they didn't see these.
