On a personal level I dont think Cooper should be Captain because I dont think he’s good enough to play every game. Pontus needs 2 partners he can rely upon and we havent seen that since Bartley went back. Once Swansea decide what they want to do with Bartley no doubt we will find out and we know we have asked the question and await an answer. For me Bartley is still a risk, an expensive risk as he has now had 2 serious injuries and Swansea still want a few million for him
A freebie and in my opinion James Collins would be ideal as he is better than almost anything in the Championship. Robert Huth would also be ideal so obviously better players than Bartley who couldnt even get into a poor relegated Swansea team. Yes I loved Bartley and his attitude but hes gone

Cooper is exactly the sort of player you want in that LCB role in a back three. Naturally left footed and capable of stepping out and playing the ball.

There was a write up on here and someone,(no idea who now!) put a link up pointing out that Pontus gets caught out of position to much putting a hell of a lot of pressure on the players around him!..
He might be good, but if he's going to put pressure on the others it means he's doing something wrong!..
We've let to many goals in for the last feck knows how long but the back players and goalie always take the blame!..
So, how many has he been blamed for?..

I've never had issue with Cooper - apart from the rush of shiiit to the brain he sometimes has - we just need similar/better to compliment him and Pontus.

Wouldn’t mind seeing Cooper left of a back 3 but would need a good left wing back near him. He’s not too clever defending against nippy wingers on the deck
