Whittaker

not good enough for rangers and once again found out against quality opposition he was never worth re-signing and should be one of the first players punted if we need to sell in january.

He's the best we have just now, if we sell him in jan for a couple mil we'll get 400k to spend on a replacement so theres no point.

is he though? me, personally i would rather mcmillan or cole

Wasnt at fault for either of the goals we lost and didnt make any noteworthy mistakes. Keep him til summer

thats up for debate, he seemed happy for hooper to run off goian with no effort to cover and was roasted by mulgrew twice

he is our weak link, seems to struggle against pacey wingers, templeton always gives him a roasting

Whittaker had a good game. Cole or McMillan? Gie's peace.

Whittaker had a good game

seriously?

you must have been pi$$ed watchin the game if you thought whittaker was good, caught out of position, not closing down his man, diving into tackles and skinned twice by chuck mulgrew.

mate he was ga$h

Whittaker was the one player I would have left out perhaps, but after SmidGer put me right,I realised McMillan may not be ready for an old firm right now.He needs to get on though as Whitts is no defender, end of.

Rest of the team looked good though.Nice tactics and team Ally.

Whittaker has been doing my head in for years.

There are a lot of positives to his game but a lot of negatives as well!

Had he ever blocked a cross? Ever?

How many times have u seen mcmillan/cole play? They have still to prove how good they are/can be. I wont judge them on one game, thats what the tic do n look how it works for them. The guy has been a mainstay of a defence which has won 3iar, going now for 4iar. If u dont rate him, why do u then think we could get rid of him so easily? N templeton would roast mcmillan/cole mate

Id rather have him here n get rid of broadfoot. Then we could look to sell him in summer. As is, he can play a number of positions n we need that just now.

As for 2day, why blame him for the 1st? He stepped out with the def to play hooper off, it was bocanegra who fecked up. Wheres the abuse for him? What bout davis letting broon roam n pick the ball up 3 TIMES before he set hooper up? Missed that eh?

Where Bedoya & McKay fit? or was an Old Firm debut deemed a bridge too far?

Laff

Cole was deemd good enough by one of our greatest managers to play in the CL

McMillan played very well, against a high flying motherwell team

whittaker may well be able to play a number of positions but he isn't great in any of them

broadfoot is a better defender than whittaker which is both their primary roles.

whittaker had a stinker, not for the first time this season. can you honestly say he has had a good game since he got his new deal?? Davis and bocanegra may have also been at fault for the goal but overall both were excellent, same can't be said for whittaker
