Good or bad ?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44932616

I'm of the opinion it's a good move.

I remember, as a wean, my parents taking me to Ibrox on many occasions to see the stiffs when the "big" team were playing away from home.

We got the chance to see first team players (our heroes) who were coming back from injury in the flesh and after a game they even deigned to talk to us.

I have good memories but it will be very unlikely if you get anywhere near today's pampered overpaid overhyped footballers.

They were always Monday afternoons Ivan.

Were they?

FFS, why do I have it in my head they were in the evenings?

I remember being a ballboy at a game when I was a wee boy....I was sure it was in the evening

The odd game was perhaps at night mate but they were always penciled in for 2pm on Mondays.

The reasoning behind it btw was so that they never clashed with European games and players from the first team could get some fitness in just after the first team games at the weekend.

I remember the old season books which has the actual tickets in them and I am fairly sure it included reserve game tickets

Are rangers still aiming to continue with their players playing friendlies, or are they committing to this league? No reason why they can’t do both I suppose.
