Apparently he was really good at Ipswich, the fans raved about him there. Whereas Sheff Utd was more of a mixed bag - however it is worth noting that Sheff Utd where in the playoff places by the end of Christmas but then dropped out afterwards.

From the highlights I saw of yesterdays game it looked like him and Davies where the CB's and it also looked like (from what little I saw) they had never played with each other before.

Yea our whole backline was a mix match yesterday

Aurier was the only person in position, and by all accounts he was the only defender who played well. (Heard he was our 2nd best player behind Moura)

Seems bizarre that no one is interested in Toby. He’s one of the best in the world.

Toby looks to be staying anyway. United only ones who came in for him and are looking at alternatives now. He will leave for £25mill next summer

He will leave next summer with a Prem title and CL winners medal on his CV.

I've read Moura was exceptional, and that even Llorente looked sharp - supposedly they look a bit leaner and quicker, benefiting from a brutal pre-season perhaps.

They are but not at the prices we’re asking for considering the clause in his contract next year.

That is assuming quite a lot, but ....... he does already have a 3rd place World Cup medal.
