Thoughts on Dier and Sissoko?

Nice win today but what do You guys think is our best CM partnership when all fit?

Amos
Dier
Wanyama
Winks
Dembele

Does Onomah get a look in?

Dier/Wanyama Dembele/Winks

Dier and Dembele to answer the OP. Shame about Wanyama losing his form and fitness. And winks has his injuries issues too. Dier I don't rate in midfield 80% of the time only really good when next to dembele.

Sissoko and Amos should be nowhere near the side if we want to compete, exactly why we needed to improve this area in the transfer window (seeing 3 out of 4 I mentioned above are barely match fit) also too much reliance on Eriksen to create (Who in turn had a bad day today)

Aurier did ok. Davies, Sanchez, Sissoko, Eriksen and Kane had worse games.

I thought Dier was pretty poor today and lucky not to get a second booking.

I can’t understand why we didn’t bring a cm in and think ultimately it will cost us.

We lost a lot through the middle today and better teams may punish us.

Thought dier was one of our better players, the booking was because serge didn't win the ball when he really should have

Dier was definitely not poor and his yellow cards were due to poor play around him

Davies and Kane were the worst two players on the pitch yesterday, seemed like most of their passes went to Newcastle players.

We lack pace badly at times during the start of the season when we still need to get into our fluid passing style, we needed a real injection of pace from a advanced postion.

Shame Lucas didn't turn up he's going to be big for us with Son out for a month

Same shiiit as last year. Nobody to control the game and dictate the tempo in midfield, so Eriksen drops deep and we stop creating anything. Yet apparently Grealish is the only midfielder in Europe we could try and buy who was better than Sissoko. Absolute joke.

Thought particularly first half Dier was quality. Very composed. He took a yellow for Aurier.

I think it goes to prove how justified I have been moaning all transfer window about our lack of activity. Sissoko being our go to man in centre mid, when we have injuries in that position is suicide. The guy literally can't control or pass a football and it feels like we have 10 men every time he puts on a Spurs shirt. Hard work is just not enough for me, when you clearly look so out of place and out of your depth in a spurs side brimming with talent: I dread to think what the players think when he's on the ball. If he could actually pass the ball to a spurs player, I wouldn't be on his case so much, but he can't and he's quiet simply one of the worse footballers I have ever seen
