Thanks bluemooning! At times, some fans of other clubs offer more decent and proper answers and comments than some Chelsea fans which is why I sometimes post articles on both Chelsea and other teams' boards.

You haven't answered the question, do you think we'd be better off with Mahrez and Richarlison than Jorginho and Kovacic?

How would you set up the team with the 5 available wingers and available CMs had we not signed Jorginho and Kovacic

Do you think it would have better balance and quality?

LSTD if I was a Chelsea manager,I would have signed Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City and Richarlison plus Jorginho and signed Everton goalkeeper instead of Arizibalga from Atletico Bilbao!

If Chelsea had done that they’d have had to spend over 200m this summer. Pickford would have likely been just as expensive as Kepa if not more given that Everton don’t need the money. We’d have also had to beat City to Mahrez, which could have lead to him costing 80m+

Not sure where the extra money is coming from (probably would have meant selling Hazard) but if it was there in the first place it would have been better spent on a striker than Richarlison.

But say we’re being sensible rather than wanting the club to fork out money that doesn’t exist

Would you have taken Mahrez and Richarlison over Jorginho and Kovacic, as suggested in your article?

I think one from each group wouldve been a better balance tbh.

Jorginho and Kovacic seem very similar in terms of their roles, but both are def class.

When you see they had Drinkwater and Bakayoko its easy to understand why they signed both this summer.

You really don't have a clue. I'm polite and ask you to think before you write a sharticle then you retort as above. So as LSTD points out you suggest having Mahrez and Richarlison instead of the two central midfielders we bought. That leaves the squad overloaded with wide men and weaker in central midfield. Do you understand? Do you watch football or base it on fantasy league points scoring?

you are probably right

Bov I do not play fantasy football and some fans who talk as if they know tactics and real positions of all playera mentioned are clueless about what they are themselves saying with complete conviction!
