I loath that paper and anyone who works for it.

Jose is pure comedy gold... no manager has ever been given the chance to follow in the footstep of greatness (Sir A), with huge funds to bring in top players over two years and then fock it up in such spectacular fashion by them wanting to leave again.

Any reputation he had, which was always arguable, has been lost. He's finished as a manager.

Now that is some pretty harsh criticism of José.

Not a prayer. Still think we will be comfortably top 4 though.

United are putting plans into place to oversee big changes at the club and that will no doubt include Jose being fired off too. Don't even think the Zidane story apparently wanting the Utd job was a coincidence. I reckon there may have even been very early feelers put out to his people that the Utd job could well be available in the next 6-9 months. Jose is losing trust in players, fans and the board. What's he got left?

They fell on hard times since that season though. It was always short term thinking. Milito did well for them but he was no spring chicken either.

Jose left a real rebuilding job there.

well mourinho took over a team that basically had stagnated with mancini in charge, yes they were champions but pretty much by default with the relagation of juve and he turned them into to euro champions, benitez still took over a decent team like moyes did (champions) and it went pear shaped
