You got the better of us last season because you played mainly on the counter with your quick front 3.

Highly doubt it. Pep is stubborn- he refuses to accept that another team can beat him at his own game, despite the fact he's lost every time he's been to Anfield (three times)

We are pretty much the only team he has been unable to crack with his plan A, it's hard for him to accept. So he will try the same again, and I expect he will get beaten, again.

He faced the same challenge when Klop was at Dortmund before. He overcame it then. He will do the same with City.
Both managers have been dubbed "order & chaos".
Whoever gets the upper hand most often always inflict heavy defeat on the other.

You do understand that it was preseason where players are gaining matchfitness back? Also the throughball was an excellent one. And when the troughball was played Sane was already sprinting while vvd had his back to goal.

You're so desperate to find weaknesses where there are none. Statistically vvd is a fast player. But you just need to watch games in order to know this. Obviously you haven't so this makes you ignorant and a tad sad to use a preseason as a 'template'


When skilled players run at your defense it looks vulnerable. Otamendi of all people, who is great with the ball and a goalthreat but he makes very poor decisions leading to goals and doesn't look that great at defending. Kompany is not the same Kompany we knew who was the benchmark of cb's. Too early to tell how good laporte will be, but he looks ok nothing special. If you want special you have to look at vvd for obvious reasons, but I'm sure your bias will ignore it.
