Sorry the threads a bit "bare bones" but getting this one in early, starting N/S tonight ....
Trip down the road to the home of the budgies, can't say this one will be all that easy as Norwich have a habit of upping their game against us, still, we're Leeds We Can Do This despite the pink changing room
Venue...Carrow Road...Date...25th August...Kick Off... 15:00hrs
Team News
Leeds United have been given a boost with Jannson back in the frame, if Philips can get his form back we should be ok despite losing Coops for a few games and Dallas being doubtful , Forshaw is also looking good for a return soon
Norwich
Matt Jarvis, Kenny McLean, Carlton Morris are long term absentees for Norwich.
Norwich boss Daniel Farke will consider the fitness of several players before deciding whether to make changes.
Captain Grant Hanley is a doubt with a facial injury, while fellow defender Ivo Pinto has been ill and midfielder Alex Tettey may be rested.

Match Facts
Norwich haven't won back to back league matches against Leeds since October 1994, when they won four consecutively.
Leeds have kept one clean sheet in their last 19 league matches against Norwich at Carrow Road, a 1-0 victory in August 2005.
Norwich are looking to win back to back Championship matches for the first time since February.
In Leeds' last match against Swansea, Jamie Shackleton - aged 18 years and 317 days - became the youngest player to assist a league goal for the Whites since Lewis Cook in August 2015 (18y 207d v Derby).
Norwich striker Jordan Rhodes has scored five goals in his last six league starts against Leeds - but he saw a penalty saved in a match for Sheffield Wednesday in February 2017, his last start against the Whites.
Leeds striker Kemar Roofe has been involved in five of Leeds United's last seven Championship goals (4 goals, 1 assist).
By no means an easy game despite the fact Norwich have got off to a pretty slow start, they'll be going all out to frustrate us but i think we'll scrape the win 0-2 with Roofey and Pontus (if he plays) getting the goals

So far so good , top of the league doesn't mean too much at this stage, but it does mean something, and it'll mean a bit more if we can beat the smog-goblins on Friday night
Cheers Highland, cheers everyone
Onward!

Fantastic defence today. That 10 minutes on either side of half-time, we were excellent. They really came at us but Pontus and Bera were rock solid. Have to say we gave away a lot of possession in the midfield, but when we were around their box, we destroyed them. I still can't believe we are playing this well.

Radio 5 live mid Liverpool game started going on about Bielsa

“Overpaid for Saiz will struggle to get anything back for him.”
I hold up my hands and say I was disappointed with him from the big spit onwards, but never was as negative.
What a huge change in him and the rest. Kelvin Phillips also deserves huge credit for turning it around.
Give Bielsa manager of the Month now for August. Save time and energy and give it to him for September - April now too!
