I could never settle on a definitive top 5, on another day the list could easily have Blackadder, The Office (either UK/US), Extras, Alan Partridge, Bewitched, 3rd Rock and certainly Friends which was brilliant.

The Big Bang Theory is way overrated.

I like it, although Sheldon is probably the worst character in it!

Big Bang is ok at best. Some good jokes but it’s not a patch on some of the other sitcoms mentioned. Jokes are obvious and the characters annoying.

I think Young Sheldon is alright tbh, it reminds me of The Wonder Years more than anything. I enjoyed the TBBT for a bit but the last 3-4 series’ have been below average. I’ll watch the final series only out of my compulsion to finish what I started, not because it’ll be any good.

Peter Capaldis performance in the thick of it, is truly funny, obviously aided by a fantastic script from Iannucci, and his team.
My favourite fall back, even though I have seen every episode, countless times, is Im Alan Partridge.
Never fails to have me in stitches.
