daily record appology?

Seen the appology to neil lennon. This was warranted as they were clearly out of order. Didn't see the appology to Rangers or their fans. Seems very hipocritical. Still the best team won a very entertaining game of football yesterday. Its a shame big chuck couldn't time his tackles and 22 men or 11 men and 11 bouys would've stayed on the park. P.S. El kadoori?

Maryhillbear,

I was about to get some nice guilt free sleep tonight, you stole it from me lol.

Need to stop going on their page, its just habitual.

Mary,

You can't tell how good a manager any player will be.

He's not running out of chances just yet, no matter what you type/argue/crave.

He will be here for the season unless he walks himself. But I can't see him walking after the abuse he received last season.

Lose to Ross County on Wednesday and it could be curtains.

Please no - Lennon must stay.

Hes the first ever OF manager who has managed to keep both sets of fans happy.

We won the league with him in charge and we were delighted.

Celtic lost the league and had a big party to celebrate the loss and celebrate Lennons 'leadership'.

Thats quite a trick to pull off.

Lennon must stay.

Tim,

You'd tolerate going out to Ross County AGAIN would you?

Mary,

Of course not. But I wouldn't call for Lennon's head either.

We have European football to contend with, as well as sorting out our domestic form. No matter what you personally desire, most Celtic fans are behind Lennon.

I am aware that most Celtic fans are behind Lennon.

I think it's become a blind spot for many though. And it could fast become Celtic's downfall.

For me, Celtic are now in a Catch 22 situation.

Because of last year's big losing cuddlefest and show of solidarity for Lennon, a situation has been created where Lennon is almost untouchable.

In other words It's too soon to sack him, despite the results and little sign of improvement.

So far, and it's early doors, the team appears to have gone backwards rather than forwards.

Lennon staying is the best thing that could happen for Rangers in my opinion. His presence is chaotic for Celtic.

There's no gloating. I think the cuddlefest, show of support, whatever you want to call it has put Celtic in a difficult position.

It will be difficult (and smack of hypocrisy) to sack him just a few months after the love-in even if he has a terrible run of results.

You call it cuddlefest by the way. I'd call it backing and supporting a human being who went through something you would not wish on anyone.

it was a cuddlefest.

Time will tell. No-one is untouchable in football. Like everywhere, if you don't do your job, you lose it.

But I won't lose the plot after one defeat at Ibrox.
