Watch some of his more elaborate work and you will see what a good actor he was.

'Cannonball was great when you were 5'

Well i just wanna laugh with the guy, in all its foolishness, rather than watch Deliverance or Longest Yard.

I still say Harrison Ford should've been in Jurassic park, but he turned it down for the fugitive.
But i think Burt might of surprised a few in certain roles..
I think he could of easily played Han Solo... easily.

The character is all about personality, charm.
He oozed all of that. i think he could've pulled it off.

I think so too.

I think he is the next Jimmy Saville

''Would have been better than Willis in Die Hard surely, Willis just couldn't deliver the comedy lines imo''

I just saw this comment...

Er..eh!?
But that was what he was known for, (Moonlighting), Willis/Shepard, don't think there's been a better comedy duo since.
Anyone that says Will and Grace, gonna get slapped!!
but anyhoo, what do i know, just my opinion.

i think cos McClane was played as a sort of ordinary guy who we could relate to, whose in an extraordinary situation, was its massive pull.

Reynolds is the American Roger Moore.

Looks OK.

But same face for every emotion.

All about opinion as we all know.

But I think a common error is this.

If someone is in a good film folk assume they must be a good actor.

Reynolds was in some excellent films.

As was another member of the Hollywood aristocracy Nick Cage.

Totally connected with the folk who mattered & got the best gigs.

Very, very limited actors IMO.

The networking & nepotism in the film industry makes these guys.

Reynold was in some good films.

So were some background fellas who didn't get a line to speak.
