The BBC article posts stats against other keepers in the league. This shows what a good keeper he is, despite his error against Leicester.

If you're happy to reach a conclusion on him after 4 games then so be it. I merely commented that it was a small sample size. So you mentioned the Spurs keepers. Just a weird conversation path.

Haven’t said I’ve reached a conclusion. He’s quality, which the early stats show. He’s also an improvement on both Karius and Mignolet, who would’ve been no where near the top of the stats for save % and clean sheets.

For a new keeper to come in and post such stats early doors compared to established PL keepers is impressive.

I don't think Allison makes that mistake at 0-0/1-0 either. Just got a little cocky.

Van Dijk is the reason why Liverpool are keeping clean sheets.

Haven't seen Alisson do anything spectacular, just made regulation saves when called upon and that attempted Cruyff turn. It's too early to judge him but obviously a considerable improvement on your previous keepers.

stats never lie?

no stats are merely an assessment of a sample.

whether they are representative of the population as a whole... well thats a judgement call.
