Derby County 0 - 0 Blackburn Rovers

After the eye rolling, here we go again, utter febrile occurrences of Saturday, we roll up our shorts ready to go again against Blackburn. Exuberance, confidence, excitement just dissipated on Saturday like a used prophylactic after a failed fumble in the doorway of the chip shop.

I was bemused on Saturday. We have better players but after dominating for the first 3 minutes, they realised that we were crap and decided that they could win. We never really got to grips and their game plan won out.

Anyway, do not despair, that's the beauty of the Championship, there's always another game coming up.

What is our best team? Do we know? Should we have rotated? I understand Nugent was poorly so was not selected on Saturday. But not even Bryson or Wisdom in the squad????? We don't like robust teams and we seem to be the target for bullying opposition. Who is our enforcer?

*RAISING THE BAR*:-

Is it better to be a big fish in a small pond or a small fish in a big pond?

Ang said it was not possible to get fish 'n chips & beer in north London (where I'm at). He was right, I ended-up have a chicken curry and a pint of gnats pi55 (lager)!

Great fish and chips in Marylebone and a couple of cracking boozers around there.

That's more north west if memory serves me right.

What has happened to the home crowds this season? The season ticket deals were quite generous, I heard. Is Mel trying to squeeze you on match day prices?

It did look disappointing alright especially when it was asked for throughout the week.

But then you'd get that.

23.5K there tonight. Better than I'd imagined. But with the advent of the red button for midweek games and the miserable weather coming, you're not going to attract many casual supporters, just the die-hards.
Unless, of course, there's a serious look at ticket prices

The football chairmen want to fleece the fans, it's how they are wired, end-of!

Vast improvement from Saturday but too few clear cut chances I’m afraid. Can’t fault the energy and work rate but need better quality in the final third.

1 point v Rotherham away and Blackburn at home not a great return.

Bogle and Bennett had great games along with Mount and BJ who were excellent too
