Thoughts from today

Felt we started too slowly and obviously giving up 2 goals is very hard to come back from.

Is it a case of starting slowly or of teams not allowing us at them from the off I'm not sure.

Some glimpses of great patterns but not enough of it and not effective enough.

BPF was a bit culpable today despite making a cracking save, but we always look a bit fragile in defence.

Great substitutions from Bielsa in terms of not waiting till last minute to change things and they did have an impact but he's really limited with what he has on the bench, the injuries are hurting us now.

Thought Harrison looked really good first half then faded and was really impressed with Dallas today, I'd play him just for the free kicks he attracts in dangerous places.

Felt we just lofted too many balls in in the final third when what has been successful for us so far this season was more incisive play on the ground.

Hopefully not a mirror of last season, it feels like we have more about us and a manager who knows what to do, but we do need to make more of our possession, 71% yet scratching around for shots on goal is poor.

Hopefully a wake up call that this draws against Millwall and Boro aint that great if we're throwing away home points like this, must be half a down teams at top of table within 1 or 2 points of each other, positions can change very quickly if not careful and we don't quite have that aura of invincibility now that could have already put teams on back foot.

I think yesterday showed how shete some of our “fans” our.

Last season the crowd literally got us back to 2-2 against Bristol City, atmosphere was immense for 45 second half minutes.

At times the players need us, yesterday there was nothing but negative derision, yet we sit top of the league. Absolute Fcking morons.

Pretty much how I feel.

All season we’ve heard nothing but praise for this team, but we lose one game and we’re straight back into doom and gloom.

If we put 4 past Wednesday on Friday, nobody will be talking about yesterday.

Spot on there AZA. Atmosphere was really poor in the Kop, people were trying to get it going and most were stood silent. Most would have been more at home in the West Stand.

When there was 10 minutes left I had almost 2 rows to myself.

Several near me started whinging about how crap our players are when we conceded.

Help the atmosphere & team or stay away.

You could see it on here with people hammering Alioski.

Then he scored, they soon shut up, but the constant complaining about players doesn't help anyone.

Problem is, kop is full of women now.

Killed atmosphere

There's a massive difference between airing your disgruntlement about a player on here and doing it at a match.

Alioski was poor yesterday and has been for a few games. He still has the nod over Dallas for a starting position for me, I think he plays the system slightly better.

Being critical of players on a matchday thread is fair game if they aren't performing. And other posters will call you out if they disagree.

I remember the hard time Saiz was getting from some on match day threads last season.

It's been a bit of nagging fear for me this. I think we have an element of 'support' who have almost become institutionalised by being used to failure and criticise and turning in players whether ta games ,twitter etc because's it's all their limited intelligence knows and can think to do.

Hopefully they will get shouted down by people near them at games and it doesn't reach Bielsa's ears with his volatile history.

The booing at half time was scandalous and i made everyone around me aware of it.

In general i thought the atmosphere was poor given it was a full house and very early on people were moaning at every poor pass. That occasion when Phillips had it in the centre and was looking for a pass but then dribbled it right out to the touchline and ended up giving them a throw-in was met with such hate. It was if there were hundreds of people just waiting for a Phillips error so they could get on his back.

I was really really disappointed in the home crowd and will challenge those around me again in similar circumstances.

Top of the league and getting booed off at half time.

Laughable

Thought the exact same thing when that happened Kebab.

That’s the only disgraceful part of that game. Not the performance of the players
