Results of Week 7

Another week of some very mixed scoring

With a Celtic loss, a big scoring Hibs win, St Mirren losing and Dundee Utd winning away from home then it led to a week of some very mixed scores.

Coisty was the top scorer of the week with a good 21 and that sees him rocket up the league into15th place and within reach of the top. Two weeks ago he was down in 30th so it shows what just a couple of good weeks can do.

Ginger remains in top spot but Gowteam joins him as joint leader, mustyfrog and Ghod solidify their places in the top 4. Other big jumps further down the table included Curly who jumped from 37th into 23rd (I have kept Curly in the league despite him not posting much as his theory of home wins being 2-1 is an interesting one so he continues to have that as his default predictions). Down near the bottom some good scores from LMC, Paddy, show and Puyol meant they have closed the gap on those above them and have given themselves the opportunity to move up the table.

Some pretty low scoring from a few though. The lowest score of the week was 3 from RnRBhoy. This meant that those who missed predicting get the lowest score of 3 – bigfingers with his second miss of the table and as a result drops to 23rd and FollowFollow also with a second miss of the season and drops to 29th from 19th.

Anyone who scored less than 10 tended to drop places. Yours truly with a horrendous week dropped out of the top 10 with a paltry 6. NNH after a good few recovering from a poor start also scored 6 as did Atheist who seems to alternate between good week and poor.

Only Capital Blue changed a score this week. He switched the Dundee Utd score after checking the Falkirk form and scored himself an extra 3 points on his original predictions. Sadly he also had a relatively poor week but just clings on to a place in the top 10 as a result.

Welcome aboard to Penshawdave who runs the English Predictor league. Although he has missed the first 6 weeks there are still a lot of points to be scored and with double weeks and jokers still to all be used then I have no doubt he’ll shoot up the table very quickly. I narrowly pipped him to the English predictor title last season.

His account was changed to that Mr Unsubscribe just after his postings about Burns and O’Donnell.

Ah the heady heights of (joint) first place. Just give me my prize the now.

Only dropped 3 places, result !!!!!!!!!

Top 10 two weeks in a row ------------- wooo - hooo

I thought similar in that I only dropped to 12th however the places don't matter right now as right now I have found my self just as close to 30th place as I am to 1st place

I need to find myself a few good weeks.

Going for draws at the time seems a sensible option but more often than not I am best placed just picking a winner
